I knew this was a terrible idea when I signed up for this...I'd kill a goldfish from lack of feeding if I had one.
Lets see...I'm 28 weeks pregnant, again. It's a boy, again. I'm fat, again. Ethan is awesome. He talks a lot, more than his little friends and I'm so happy. He was the last to crawl, first to walk, first to talk and will be the last at something I'm sure, it's just the way it works out.
I'm moving in August. We're building a house, brand spanking new and I'm really excited but it's a bit stressfull. You have to pick out everything, paint, tile, carpet, counters,... (more)

I haven't written in forever because, well because of a few things. I'm back at work and work is busy so by the time I get home all I want to do is play 'lets knock over this tower', patty cake and 1-2-3 run as fast as you can without hitting the walls along the way.
I went to Ottawa in August for a week to see a dear friend of mine. I took Ethan with me and that was busy. But Ethan's Godmother got to see him.
I got a new computer recently and still haven't re-loaded everything I need on to the new one. The new one is so incredibly loud, the fan that is, it gives me a headache. ... (more)

What a busy weekend. Thomas was OK, I'm sure my neice and nephew would give you a totally different answer, but for me...it was kind of boring. But, that wasn't the reason we went, it was for the kids. Sunday before coming home we went to Storybook Gardens and I actually had a really good time. I went there several times as a child and it's funny to see things now.
Things I thought were so huge are actually quite small. Like the blow up whales and dolphins at Marineland, I used to think they were so big my sister and I could both ride on the back of them in our pool. They're really... (more)

I'm heading to London this weekend. Ethan and I have tickets to see Thomas the Tank Engine, a real train, that takes you for a ride. He has no clue what Thomas is, but I'm going with my sister and her two kids which will be fun. I already have a list a page long of things I have to bring for Ethan.
Stroller, booster seat, play pen, diapers, food, clothes, toys, all his lotions and potions, sippy cups, formula...oi veh. I need a cube van just to get him there. Not to mention I'll have three car seats in my car for all the kiddies. I may just die before I ever see Thomas.
It's amazing... (more)

Oh snap, time flies. My little man is very close to being 10 months old and in less than one month I will be back at work full time. Ethan is crawling so fast I almost have to run to catch him. He goes up the stairs, opens every drawer/door he can reach, pulls himself up on everything in reach and is just about the cutest thing I've ever seen.
He can dance, clap, wave bye bye, give kisses, hugs, point, roar like a lion and stand all by himself. He says Dada, car, stick, Bubba, what's that and shakes his head no when told 'no'. He's destroyed so many things in this house I've stopped... (more)

This week has been pure insanity. I'm back at work full time and I really thought what's the big deal. I cried for FOUR days. I missed my little man so much. But then I come home and he hugs me for ten minutes and smiles and it makes it all better.
Every time I get around to writing here I say how big he's getting - all 18lbs of him. He's walking. He started just after he turned 10 months and this weekend he'll be 11 months. That's almost one full year. He's just not that needy little baby he once was.
When you have a baby you're entire world, entire being, entire existence is for... (more)

I think something is wrong with me. I just watched Grey's Anatomy and bawled when the dog died and then cried when Izzy was crying. What's up with that?
I worked today so I'm tired and so thankful for the beauty of time shifting. Thank you Halifax and hi Grammy!!!
My little man has now gone from crawling to standing up and can walk between the couch and coffee table. I guess they call that cruising, but if that cruising turns into walking I am in TROUBLE. He's nine months old today and he is the busiest 9 month old I know. He get's into absolutely everything he can reach, and if he... (more)

My ten deepest darkest secrets revealed...don't judge me.

I can't stand being in a room with a closet door open.
I brush, floss, then brush my teeth again each night before bed.
I have an extreme, put me in a straight jacket, phobia of vomiting or seeing someone else do it.
I once had sex in a hotel room with someone sleeping in the next bed.
In grade one I told my teacher 'botato' wasn't in the dictionary.
I leave the plastic film on electronics on as long as I can.
When I fold socks I can't leave any of the toe hanging out.
I have a super sensitive nose and can smell anything from... (more)
